First Post

Well, a blog starts with the first post, right? I never know how to start these things. It's a habit that's resulted in a lot of my blog attempts failing before they even hit the ground. That quote about missing 100% of the shots you don't take is so true though so here it goes.

I'm currently studying for my MBA, and am in the middle of an IT Project Management course currently. Balancing a full time job, going to school, and facilitating my wife's nesting while we await our first born is exhausting which has resulted in this class taking longer than expected. I'm hoping to get started on my next course next week.

I'm approaching the 1 year mark at my current role. I really enjoy the work I do, the people I work with, and where I work (at home). All that said, I want to grow and I'm trying to figure out what that means for me.
